Oil & Angels

While we were at the beach, the Navy was constantly bee-boppin' along the shoreline in this contraption. Yes, I know it's a blimp....Quite interesting to see this up close!



One morning we woke up to see this.......



Can you tell what it is? It was so humid so I had trouble sometimes taking pictures because the lens would fog up immediately and I had to continually wipe the moisture off. That's why it looks sort of hazy....Anyway, it's a big 'ole blob of oil. Yes, sad. It came just so nonchalantly across the waves and of course, in between the broken booms. It had about 4 or 5 smaller blobs behind it. We watched it for a while and never saw where it ended up because we were headed out. It was so big though! This picture doesn't do it justice!

We took the kids to see the Blue Angel Air Show. It was sooo awesome!! This was the first time any of us had ever seen it. David, Allison and I were fascinated! The kids.....not so much! And I say that only because it was sooo hot! Anyone with young kids knows....extreme heat and young chillin's don't mix. LOL!

I took A LOT of pictures at this show but I won't be posting them here. There are just too many, but I will go ahead and post some of the ones I absolutely love!

Can you believe it is August 1st already? I can't!!! This summer has flown by! School will be starting in about 2 weeks. I'm sad. I'll miss spending these lazy days with my babies! I've totally enjoyed it though!!
