God IS So Good!!

Again, let me say...GOD IS SO GOOD!!

Let me first say, CONGRATULATIONS to my best friends Robert & Stephanie on the birth of their new little blessing Cameron Tyler!! He was born last night and was 6lbs 13oz and 20in long. Isn't he beautiful? And look at that hair!! :)

Cameron has had an adventurous little journey the last 4 weeks. Stephanie has been in and out of the hospital several times and was even put on bed rest because he was trying to make his entrance a *little* too early.

Last night, Robert and Stephanie had some friends over for dinner and Stephanie wasn't feeling well. She was hurting and having a lot of pressure. She went to the back and called the Dr. and they advised her to go ahead and come to the hospital and to hurry since this was her fourth child. Her and Robert quickly gathered their things, asked their friends to please watch their other children until Stephanie's parents could get there and they headed down to the hospital.

They walked onto the Labor & Delivery floor and Cameron was born 15 minutes later!!

Just think about all that was going on in that 15 minutes. A very pregnant momma trying her hardest to quickly undress and re-dress into a fashionable tushy revealing hospital gown, climbing up in to the bed, getting comfortably situated, needing to use the restroom but unable to because the nurses have to check her, being poked and prodded with a ginormous needle that has to hurriedly be put in before an epidural can be administered, blood pressure being checked.....the nurses realizing that she is 8cm dialated with her bag of waters bulging, NO TIME for an epidural...and WOW, baby flows out in said bag of waters....ALL NATURAL....with the Dr. coming into the room to deliver the baby 7 minutes after little baby boy is born. WOW, WOW, WOW!! Fifeteen minutes doesn't really seem like a long time when you have all of that going on!

Kudos to you mommy!!! Welcome to the 4 kid club!! We are so excited for you guys and can't wait to meet and hold this new little one tonight!!

Just think, if their friends hadn't have come over to dinner or if Robert and Stephanie had waited themselves for her parents to get there, then Robert could have possibly been delivering his own son at home! It was a totally a God thing!! I don't believe in "coincidences"....EVERYTHING happens for a reason and even though we may not understand it at the time....He has a purpose for everything!!

Welcome to the world Cameron!! :)

Look at what I found.....

This is Stephanie and me on a girls trip to the beach about 15 years ago! Funny stuff!
