Urgent Prayer Request

I ask you to please pray for my long time best friends Stephanie and Robert. Roberts dad was rushed to the hospital yesterday because he was unresponsive. Apparently he has been sick for the last few days and yesterday became unaware of who he was and everyone around him. He has been running fever and the doctors have run many tests and can't figure out what is going on. He is in the intensive care unit which means that family can only visit for about 30min at a time for 4 times a day. That makes it really hard. The dr's have told them that things don't look good. Robert's sisters and their families have come into town and are staying with Stephanie and Robert and their family. Stephanie is also pregnant and I know this stress isn't good for her and the baby. Please also keep the baby and Stephanie in your prayers that God will protect her and that sweet little innocent one.

Aaaand So It Begins....

Tomorrow is opening day for baseball. YAY!! Not only is Bud playing again this year, but Boogs is playing t-ball too. He is soo excited to be playing "bay~ball". We got their uniforms the other day and dang it...if I don't have the cutest baseball players...EVER! I am excited that it is finally here even though we will basically live at the ballpark for the next month or two.

Tomorrow is going to be busy! We have a parade at the butt crack of dawn....literally, and then we have Bud's pictures at the same time that Boogie's game starts and then Bud's game is an hour and a half later. There will also be booths set up all day. It should be loads of fun....PLUS the weather is going to be beautiful!! Now, if I could just shake this ickyness I have had the last few days. And NO, my lovelies ...I am not pregnant! LOL! :)

Here is a picture of Boogie's first baseball practice. He was so happy that he wanted to wear Bud's All Star shirt for his practice. SO cute!



Look how sweet my kids are! They picked me some beautiful itching, coughing, sneezing, tears up my sinuses weeds, flowers. Unfortunately I wasn't able to put them in water because all of the stems had been picked off. Sweetness from their hearts is what matters! :)



Little Man has started walking some so I bought him his first pair of digs. Out of the four of them, he is the earliest walker.

Random Things I've Learned

WOW, has it really been a month since my last post? It seems just like yesterday.


1. I am more in love with my hubby today, than I was when we got married.

2. Atm machines WILL suck your money back in if not taken out within a certain amount of time. Believe me, I know.

3. I am stronger than I thought.

4. I don't really like chips. BUT, I will eat reduced fat, original Pringles. They can't be the fat free ones......they have to specifically say reduced fat.

5. Being a mom of four is harder than I thought, but God graciously equips me to be the mom of these four blessings.

6. People will turn on you on a dime.

7. I have waaay more gray hairs than I would like to admit.

8. You sometimes can't trust the people you thought you could.

9. The carpool line at the kids school starts moving everyday at exactly 2:52pm.

10. I don't think outside of the box and often times need help doing so.

11. Good friends are sometimes sitting right beside you at the ball park.

12. My body is not and never will be the same as it was in high school because of the 4 watermelons blessings I pushed out. ;)

13. It's harder to be quiet sometimes rather then say what you want or need to say.

14. People only hear and believe what they want to.

15. Oxy Clean or Sun cleaner will get almost everything out of your clothes.

16. Growing old doesn't always mean that you are growing in maturity.

17. I'm am not a morning person like I was when I was younger. I used to jump out of bed and automatically be ready for the day. Now I beg for just one more minute of rest.

18. I prefer listening to music all day rather than watching tv. David on the other hand, could sit and watch the Discovery channel, Food Network, A&E and TruTv all day long. For some reason, he loves the shows that come on those channels. They drive me nuts. Really, the only tv I watch is the news.

19. I could eat Chic-fil-A everyday for a year....or I think I could.

20. You quickly learn that people don't care about someone else's emergency when you are the one riding in the back of an ambulance. (more on that later)

21. A friend really does stick closer than a brother. (Prov. 18:24)
