Updates on the M&M's

Thank you to those of you who were praying for Meggy..her surgery went great! She didn't even cry. I was on the verge of tears the whole time but she was such a trooper!! She took her "Teddy" and was able to hold onto him the whole time. We found out that she had an abscess so the Dr. has her on an antibiotic to clear the infection up and then she will have to go back for him to put the filling in. She must have a high tolerance for pain or either she wasn't experiencing anything because she has never complained of her tooth or mouth hurting unless it was about one of her molars coming in.

Boogs had his evaluation meeting this morning to see if he will test into the school system for speech therapy services. We won't know the outcome of today's meeting until Sept. 16th so I will definitely keep you updated. In the mean time he will continue to see his speech therapists through the E.I. services. He has had some progress but not anywhere near where he should be for an almost three year old. Please continue to pray that it will "click".

Bud met with his teacher yesterday. He starts K-4 next Wednesday and he will have the same teacher that Meggy had when she was in K-4. I don't know if he realizes that he will actually have to walk into school by himself without Meggy. I hope it goes well! I have also been asked to be the room mother again so with all that is going on with Boogs and homeschooling Meggy, this should be an interesting year. :) I'm excited to be apart of it!!

I just wanted to add that I love my family and friends!! Without your prayers, support and encouragement I would not be able to make it through these tough trials sometimes that we call life. And most importantly, I thank and love my heavenly Father for always being there for me like He promises. He really does care about what is going on in each of our lives and what's important to each of us!
