Monday night, Boogs was playing/wrestling around with his, almost as tall as he is, stuffed Spiderman and somehow flipped over it and landed on his shoulder. I had my back to him so I didn't see it, but David and my sister, Allison, saw it and heard a "pop". We immediately knew something was wrong. He couldn't lift his arm and was crying. We could also feel a knot on his bone. I took him to the Dr. yesterday morning and the x-ray confirmed that he broke his clavicle (collar) bone. There's not much they can do for a broken collar bone but place him in a sling to push his shoulders back while the bone heals itself.
He is our little Nemo in the fact that when he was born, somehow during the birthing process he broke that exact same collar bone. We didn't find out about that until his two week checkup when the Dr. felt a knot on the bone and took an x-ray and sure enough it had been broken and was in the healing process.
He had some trauma to his two front teeth when he hit a nightstand one night which caused one of his front teeth to discolor. Per the dentist, it's probably just where blood got down in the tooth and you can't really get it out until he looses it.
Then he had the hearing/speech problems which required tubes for his ears and speech therapy. He's doing great with that by the way!
But I tell you what, out of the four of our children, he has THE SWEETEST disposition. He is so sweet and shy and loving! He is our Boogie Bears and we love him so much! ...not boogtywoogty blah, blah, blah.
Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy healing process! Thanks! :)
