Happy Labor Day

What a fun weekend! We have been lazy, gone swimming, played football in the backyard with the kids, watched football, cooked out, worked out, and just have had a fun time together as a family! David also fixed his lawnmower and weed eater. He's so handy! It's so nice to have him be off with us without worrying about overtime or if he should have gone into work or not. We are enjoying him being home!

The weather has been absolutely perfect! Cool sunny cloudless beautiful weekend! Of course, Saturday was football day! We thought about having Pudgie stew for dinner but decided to grill out steaks and shrimp instead. Yummy! PLUS, both of our teams won so it was a great day!



Today is the last day our neighborhood pool will be open so we are taking the kids swimming! They LOVE swimming and would spend all day every day at the pool if they could. I'm so thankful that we live in a neighborhood that has amenities. My neighborhood growing up didn't have anything like that so we were bored a lot during the summer. Of course we found fun things to do with our neighborhood friends, but a big pool sure would have been nice! :) Anyway, we are off to the pool. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day!! :)
