Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

I tell you what...these coach pitch baseball coaches sure do take this game seriously. Bud's team consists of some 4 year olds, 5 year olds and a few 6 year olds. They are practicing about two to four times a week. It seems sort of ridiculous to me that they practice so much because of their ages, but David says that's just sports. Anyway, Bud had his first practice game last Saturday and he did pretty well.

He's getting better at hitting and catching the ball when it comes to him. He just needs to work on his running to the bases. Bless his heart, all the coaches are yelling different things so I know he gets a little confused but he'll learn. He's a fast runner but gets caught up in the players of the other teams. I'm just hoping we can make it through the season which officially opens tomorrow. Supposedly they are having a parade at 8:00a in the morning...WHAT??? Why so early?? Pictures at 12:50p and then his game is at 2:15p. But the weather forecasters are saying it will be storming so all of these plans for tomorrow are up in the air for now. We'll just wait and see! :)
