No Turning Back Now....

I'm sitting here biting my nails....no, not really because that's just gross, but my wonderful husband has gotten a wild hair you know where and has decided to start a home project. At least he is starting small. He has decided to put ceramic, well actually I think it's porcelain tile (not sure the difference), in our downstairs bathroom. It's a small area and so he figures that if he messes it up , it won't be that bad. HA! He really wants to learn how to do those kinds of things himself which I applaud, but honestly, I'm a little scared. I think he'll do great though.

This is what the bathroom looked like before he started. It had vinyl flooring.

He had just removed the porcelain throne and was getting ready to pull up the flooring.

And here it sits...in the garage.

After the flooring was ripped up....and we apparently have a big crack (HAHA) in the floor too. As a note, almost every house has a crack somewhere.

Bud helping to scrape up the old glue. Does this go against child labor laws? :)

While he started on his manly project, I started on mine. Last year, we donated all of our baby stuff to a local charity, not thinking at that time that we might have another baby. Well, now that we know we are having another boy we are wishing we hadn't done that but someone needed it at that time so it's all good.

So today we went and bought a new travel system. My project was to put it together.

All finished! And I love the colors. I have been into the blue/brown color scheme lately and I found the perfect stroller/car seat combo! I am so excited!! It didn't take me as long to finish my project as it's going to take David to finish his. LOL! :)

More "project" pictures to come!!
