Busy, Busy, Busy and A Little Something Extra

Well, as if life wasn't busy enough! HA! I tell you what, this has been a trying year for us, it seems like, since the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve.  From the heart palpitations to the emergency appendectomy, to my mom having a small heart attack and stroke and then having open heart surgery, plus the busy demands of every day life with a family of six, I need a big WHEW!!! The month of May alone has been the busiest by far! Between work, lots of baseball games, travel ball tournament, closing ceremonies for baseball, team parties, Dr's visits for my mom and me, Kindergarten program, two awards programs, Pudgie's birthday, Mimi's birthday, last day of school, bridesmaid luncheon, rehearsal, wedding......I have done more running around than I would like but hey, it's life!  It has been a busy, but great month!

Here are a few updates, Boogs graduated from Kindergarten!! I can't believe he is even old enough to go to first grade! Such a sweet heart I tell you! He has done great this year! He was even released from the speech therapy program he has been in for four years because he has done so well! We are so very proud of him!!

My dad retired from the police department after 27 years! Thank you for your service dad!

 

Bud won the Spirit award at school. This picture is with some of his best friends!

He also hit a over the fence home run in one of his travel ball tournaments as well as a regular season game! So proud of our ball player!

Pudgie has been a mess as always! ;)

Hard to believe my baby turned 3 on May 22!

I guess you could now say I have a tween! Mimi turned 10 on the 23rd!

Mimi has done really well in school also! She made all A's and 1 B this year and is already reading on a 6th grade level! She will be entering into the 5th grade in August. So, so proud of her!!

And last but not least, I guess the biggest news I have to share is that we are expecting another little one!!!

This little one was not apart of our plan, but we know that God has a specific purpose and reason for this precious little one and so we feel extremely blessed!  The thought of a new little one has been a bit overwhelming at times especially when previously asked, the answer was "Yes, we are done!".  I know God must have laughed a huge roar of laughter every time I answered that question to people.  And NO, we are NOT Catholic!!! Anyway, that is what has been happening in our world as of late and since this year has been so interesting already, I can't wait to see what else God has in store for us!!
