The Season Has Started

Friday night was Bud's first baseball game. Their opening season game was cancelled due to weather last weekend, so this was their first real game.

They played pretty well but ended up losing 18-6. I think part of the reason for their loss was that their assistant coach pitched for the first time to the little guys and they are used to the main coach pitching. The assistant coach seemed to pitch a little to high and the boys still swung at the ball. But, it's not about winning or losing is it?? Or is it??

They were supposed to play a double header yesterday to make up for last week's game but for some reason one of the games was cancelled.

Bud's team won 12-7!! We were so excited and so were they!! Congratulations guys! :)

David had to work yesterday, but we are so glad that Granny got to come and watch Bud play!
