Just wanted to give ya'll a quick little update on Boogs. Both speech therapists came to the house today and were excited to see the difference in him from last week. When they came last week he didn't really want to engage in playing with them and he just basically went through the toy box and threw out the toys. Not really playing with anything in particular. Today was different. We stayed upstairs and played with playdoh and colored and he was right there with all of us the whole time. Plus he's been using alot more of the sign language that he has learned. We are working on learning more, but I'm happy that he is at least communicating in some way to us. The frustration factor has gone down a lot! Yesterday in the van on the way to pick up M#1 from school, he had a toy that M#2 wanted to play with and Boogs was actually telling him "No". I had to turn around (yes, while driving) to watch him tell M#2 "No". Now, I know that might not seem like a big deal to some, but to me it's everything! I am so excited!! ALSO, as some of you know, Boogs is a VERY picky eater. He pretty much eats the same things everyday. And it's not a big variety of stuff that he eats. He won't even try new things. If it's not what he's used to then he won't eat it.....WELL yesterday I actually got him to eat 3-4 Chick-fil-a nuggets. THAT IS HUGE!!! Praise the Lord!! Now, I don't know if I'll be able to accomplish that again, but I was so excited to at least see him try something new!! Of course, I had to snap a picture of him eating a nugget. :)
