Thankful Thursday

David and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary today and I am thankful for him and thankful that God brought us together 11 years ago. He is my best friend, my rock, my lover lips, my companion, my encourager, my helper and the best daddy to our babies. I love you sweetheart! Happy Anniversary!! :)

Here are some pictures from Boogie's 3rd birthday party this weekend.

My baby is 3!

We won't have Boogie's party until tomorrow afternoon and so if we don't have one of their parties on the day of their birthday, we always try and do something special for them on their actual birthday. Tonight when David got home from work, he grilled out some bbq chicken and fixed supper for me (what a sweetie) because I was downstairs helping Dee-deed pack up the rest of her stuff. We ate supper and then gave Boogs his presents and had cupcakes.

It's Boogie's day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Boogie~Bears!! It was 3 years ago today that this sweet little blond haired blue eyed baby boy entered into our world. He is the sweetest little boy and is so loving! We are so blessed and thankful that God has loaned him to us. Thank you dear God for the three years that we have had with him and pray that we have many more!! We love you so much Boogs!!!

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for a Heavenly Father who wakes me up in the middle of the night to remind me "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me" John 14:1. I have been worried about something this week and He knows my heart. He knew that I needed to be reminded of that verse.

I woke up the other night and couldn't go back to sleep. As I layed in the bed, I felt like God was telling me to go read my Bible. So I went in the living room and turned on the light and prayed that I felt like He was telling me to read His word so please show me what it was that I needed to know. I held my Bible pages up and then let them drop and they opened to John 14:1. I felt peace as I was reminded that He wants me to trust Him.

What an awesome God that knows me and cares for my worries!
